Café Carlyle Presents: “Songs from the MotherRoad”
A Musical Cabaret and Mothers’ Day Brunch

Sunday, May 11, 2008, 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM

A Mother’s Day event that is not only gala but truly soul-satisfying. Accompanying myself on rollicking jazz/pop piano, I will sing and play songs from my latest CD, Water Over Stones, about motherhood, raising teens, and grown-up love. I’ll also include favorites from my acclaimed first CD, If Mama Ain’t Happy, about the early years — With legendary musicians Everett Bradley (percussion) and Jerome Harris (guitar and bass).
Brunch Buffet followed by a one-hour show
